Well, as most of you might have expected, we DID win our racquetball tournament this weekend.
I am so glad that all my training FINALLY paid off!! heehee (now IF ONLY they would REALLY pay me!) One good thing about racquetball is this, it's a sport where females and males can compete comparatively. That is if the woman wants to get herself to that level. When I left the tournament there was a battle of the sexes going on for the MEN'S A Title.
Which really just goes to show that this sport NEEDS more women! I will say this, in our second match the woman was wearing what appeared to be a bathing suit! Now, I am not sure if she was using this as her secret weapon (trying to distract us) or if she made a wrong turn on her way to the beach! Whatever the case was, I thought I was going to have to pull out my "STRING BIKINI THONG" that I usually wear under my racquetball clothes, just to fight back! (fortunately it didn't come to that!)heehee It did however ca use us to wonder aloud, "isn't there a rule about clothing in the manuals?"
Afterall, remember when, at the end of the Women's Soccer Match, the girl celebrated by ripping her shirt off and paraded around in her 'sport bra', what an uproar that caused?
It was an excellent weekend for a picnic at the lake wasn't it? Not that I did it mind you, but it was a beautiful weekend. I did manage an 'after dinner' walk around the lake. There was a full moon, which was quite beautiful and seemed to bring out the 'weird ones'. (I'm NOT talking about me, mind you!) And what is the deal with all those ‘swarming bugs’? It wasn’t bothering me too much till I ate one! UGH!!
Well, ROSIE is sure at it again. I think she has the right to voice her opinions, BUT...does hse HAVE to have so many of them? just kidding. I agree with her most of the time, but she is certainly making enemies of the BUSH supporters. (politically speaking, of course!)heehee
We are going to have a new GLBT Cultural Center soon. Watch the O&A Show this month for the details or go to outandaboutnashville.com and read the story there.
