Well, the "CLAMPET CHRISTMAS" ride was a night to remember for sure...IF ONLY we could remember! (It's a good thing I have photos..) The limo was very nice, we called, ABOUT TOWN LIMO to drive us around so we could drink...uh, yeah...and look at CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!! Yeah,....that's what it was.
We saw some incredible houses that were decorated. I only wish I knew where we had gone, so I could go back and really appreciate them for what they are...now that I am sober!!
Johnny sang a rousing version of, "OH, HOLY NIGHT" every time we saw a decoration. The only time she sang something different was when we picked up Nina and Renee and she decided to try to write a Jewish Holiday Song (for Renee) while we traveled about. I am sure Renee was impressed with, "Cradle the Ladle". (See photo.)
I am not quite sure what happened (even with the photos) but Lil Tina and Nissa ended up with red wine spilled on them in a few places and at one point it looked like there was some type of mud wrestling going on! IN THE LIMO!! I am surprised that Jeff (the driver) didn't throw us out long before we got back to our party!
Speaking of which, Dawn and Ms. Brown must have thought it was a slumber party! They showed up to the party in their jammies! Does it mean we are getting old when we can't go to a party that starts at 10 p.m.?
The DIRTY SANTA GAME turned out to be quite the rousing crowd pleaser as usual. Ms. Brown was DELIGHTED when she learned that she was about to open the "DIRTY SANTA GIFT" that I brought to the party. (That's what she gets for TRYING to stalk around and see what present I brought so she could AVOID it!!) By the way, the used toaster I brought was VERY fine and even had a piece of toast included, proving that this toaster was in excellent working condition!! (And COULD have been sold at ANY fine garage sale in town) Kris was so pleased with her little trinkets, she left them behind, hiding them around Johnny's house when Johnny wasn't looking. SURPRISE!! In fact, word has it that Ms. Brown left that toaster there somewhere too, so you better look around Johnny before the toast gets moldy!
The RUBBERBANDS made a brief appearance right before Dawn fell asleep on the couch. We did miss a great opportunity to do some neighborhood caroling though, since Ms. Brown ducked out of the limo ride and we forgot to do them when we had the "captive" audience!
All in all...it was a Christmas to remember...too bad I didn't bring the camcorder! (Uh, is Christmas over already?) I HIGHLY recommend the limo service to everyone, it was a very comfortable and safe ride...quite relaxing, actually.
