The Gaycation Travel Show is the product of OUTvoices TV’s partnership with Gaycation Magazine. Host Ravi Roth is seeking to introduce LGBTQ travelers to the best attractions in both cities known for their LGBTQ attractions, like Manhattan or Brighton (UK), and perhaps those LGBTQ travelers might not consider “gay” destinations, like this week’s episode feature, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The fourth episode of The Gaycation Travel Show had host Ravi Roth spending a few days exploring everything Tulsa, Oklahoma has to offer. Ravi explored the art scene, the food scene, the museums, the great outdoors, and even found that the nightlife far exceeded his expectations. Okay, so even after watching the episode, Tulsa may not top your post-COVID vacation list, but you know what? It does have a lot more to offer than you might have guessed!
Tune in to learn about all of the best spots in Tulsa for LGBTQ travelers!
At Hotel Indigo Tulsa, you will experience the best of downtown, with its locally inspired art and music and creative cocktails and dining experiences. The Dennis R. Neill Equality Center supports the LGBTQ+ community of greater Tulsa, and is owned and operated by Oklahomans for Equality. Established in 1995, the Equality Center is one of the largest LGBTQ+ community centers in the region. Boasting a beautiful 18,000-square-foot facility with an event center, the Equality Center offers the community services like a full-service lending library, a wellness center, an art gallery, and much more.
Enough said. Since 2005, the Tulsa Eagle has been serving Eagle realness. Eagle bars are a brand recognized the world over, but like gay bars everywhere they are on their way to the endangered species list. So be sure to show your love and support to the Eagle here and Eagles everywhere.
Club Majestic bills itself as Tulsa's premiere dance club. Its location in the heart of the Tulsa Arts District and its great drag shows, dance floor, and multiple bars do go a long way toward promising a great time for any LGBTQ+ visitor.
This episode also touches on many other culinary and cultural delights, so be sure to watch The Gaycation Travel Show’s Tulsa episode!
